Anchoring your boat in an idyllic location is just as much fun as riding the waves. Beaching your craft offshore requires the right technique that prevents getting stuck, drifting away, damaging the keel, and other risks, and of course, you need the right tools as well. If you want to secure a small boat, PWC, or canoe, then a simpler, lighter, more compact anchor will do better than a traditional stern anchor. Beach anchors penetrate easily into the sand and ensure sufficient holding power, so you can tie up at a sandbar with confidence. They are easy to set and release, too.
There are basically two types of beach anchors: push-in (spike-style) and screw-in (augers). They are compact, user-friendly, and will reliably secure your boat off a sandy or gravel shoreline. Many of these anchors feature high-visibility tops to be easy to spot, while metal parts are made from galvanized steel or stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance and durability. Stake-style tops allow for less physical effort when setting and breaking the anchor loose. Check out our selection of marine lines to connect to your anchor or go with an anchoring kit that includes everything needed.
