Although mariners take all the necessary measures to prevent any danger on board, no one can guarantee that everything will go right during the trip. There are situations when passengers have to leave the sinking boat. In this case life rafts are of great help. The life raft has a capacity of at least 6 and typically up to 25 people, while big passenger vessels have life rafts designed for up to 150 people.
