If you own a boat with an outboard and/or trolling motor, you may need various accessories allowing you to keep it in good working condition. Some of the most popular ones are motor locks designed to secure the engine on the transom thus protecting it from theft. You can choose from a variety of quality models made of stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials and having a durable locking mechanism. Another accessory which is often utilized with outboards is a motor flusher; this relatively simple device is meant for flushing the cooling system when the boat is in a dry dock or on the trailer.
If you need to enhance the steering of a hand-control motor, you could install an extension handle that can be adjustable or come with a U-joint for your convenience. If you have a foot-operated trolling motor, a foot tray will enable you to locate the pedal lower, on the same level as the deck, for easier control.
