A boat propeller is a crucial part that pushes the vessel forward and withstands rather high loads. Besides, it's quite expensive, and if you're going to remove this part or install it back, this job has to be done properly, without the risk of damaging the propeller, driveshaft, or other parts. It's a common situation when the prop gets stuck in place even after the nut has been removed, and in order to take it off safely, the modern market and our online store in particular offer a wide range of boat propeller wrenches and pullers.
Designed by experienced engineers and mechanics, these tools allow you to do everything right. Our wrenches may vary in their designs, but each of them is well-suited to certain configurations and thread sizes. As for pullers, they are suitable for the corresponding diameters of shafts. Most of them are put on the shaft with the puller's end behind the prop, and it gets loose when you're tightening a thread on the puller using a wrench. Another kind of pullers is also known as propeller knockers or harmonic pullers. Essentially, such a tool is a tough metal bit screwed on the shaft for knocking with a hammer. The prop comes off thanks to minor vibrations created by one or several accurate strikes.
