Sailing is in many ways a challenging sport, which requires much skill as well as perfect boat equipment. As long as you have those, your time offshore will definitely be both enjoyable and rewarding. Essential parts of sailboat equipment are traveler systems, tracks, and vangs. Allowing you to control the shape of your sail and adjust it, travelers, tracks, and vangs reduce stress and physical exertion associated with keeping your sail always drawing well.

Sailing traveler systems are used to change the position where the sail tackle is connected to the boat. Mainsheet traveler systems effectively reduce weather helm and heel by adjusting your sailing traveler when trimming the mainsail. A sailing traveler system typically consists of a strong, stainless steel or composite body, known as a car, tracks and control ends. According to the type of tracks, the traveler system makes use of ball bearing, I-Beam, T-Track and C-Track configurations. When choosing the right traveler, both size and type of your boat need to be taken into consideration.

Ball bearing traveler systems typically come with standard low-profile tracks, beam tracks or lightweight tracks with machined slots. I-Beam tracks are manufactured from durable anodized aluminum and take their name from an I-shaped track profile. T-Track travelers are designed for small keel boats and sportsboats and have light weight and compact size. Traveler systems with C-Track profiles are typically used on dinghies. Differing in design, size, and material, sailing traveler systems and tracks available at our web store invariably ensure outstanding performance and upscale dependability.

Sailing boom vangs are lines or piston systems that are used to exert the downward directed force on the boom, thus controlling the shape of the sail. Boom vangs are irreplaceable during off-wind sailing conditions, preventing the boom from lifting. Among other important functions performed by boom vangs are supporting the boom, controlling the mainsail leech and vang sheeting. While on small-sized boats vangs are typically only line-based, larger sailboats make use of hydraulic piston configurations of boom vangs that can be operated by either manual force or electric hydraulic pumps. Boom vangs feature durable high-quality ropes and snap shackles for permanent or temporary mounting.
